If, as Biden thinks, the media actually has such a huge effect on the change of attitudes, this is extremely big news. That means the media actually controls public opinion, and IMO the public should be aware of the role of media played in politics.
If they can change the opinions about homosexuality in just two decades by such a large amount, what else can they do?
Should they be held more accountable?
Effectively this would debunk the central thesis of democracy.
