What actually makes true genius?
What actually makes the likes of Newton, Gauss, Euler, Riemann, etc geniuses, people that produced ideas that immortalized them?
I dont think it's iq by any means, having a 130+ iq makes you smart but definitely not a genius, iq is just 'computing' power.
I believe its creativity and insight but its probably far more complex.
So what do you think, anon? What do you think makes a genius?
What geniuses of history inspire you and why?

Don't IQ assessments test for creativity and intuition as two of their factors for measuring overall intelligence?

They certainly do here. So, having a high IQ does mean you are a genius. Also, i'm sure a study showed that creativity and intuition are actually just the ability to connect previous concepts and ideas together logically.

they had a lot of time and passion for what they do. They also had the educational foundation to build on what others before them had learned. I believe there were other geniuses on Newton/Einsteins level but they either weren't educated enough or didn't care enough/have enough time to pursue it to the level they did.

This type of thing, imo, is more of a self filtering thing than anything else.
Dumb people arent into math and physics because it wasnt suitably presented to them, they aren't because they can't understand these topics, let alone see the beauty in them

Take Lope de Vega for example, the dude was basically Spanish Shakespeare on steroids, His work totalled more than 1700 writtings if im not mistaken. he was a very, very, very busy man and not only in writing. he had countless scandals, fucked a ton of bitches, got into fights and shit. Anything you can think of that man did, and he still was a very prolific writer
