>be me
>work as a palliative care doctor
>have access to every type of painkiller drug in existence
>about to get large tattoo on my shoulder and arm in about a month
>get charged by the session so I really want to get it done in two as opposed to three or more sessions
Therefore, I'm interested in pre-medication to ensure I can endure several hours in a row without tapping out like a little bitch.
So far I am thinking celecoxib (no increased bleeding from NSAIDs to screw up the healing later), a long acting low-dose benzodiazepine (either clonazepam 0.5 - 1 mg or alprazolam 0.25 - 0.5 mg), acetaminophen and probably some slow-release tramadol.
Anybody here who knows what they're talking about have any suggestions? I doubt it would be worth it to go higher on the benzos since I don't ever use them and shouldn't have a tolerance. Could go with a harder opioid too, and have also considered Pregabalin.
PS: no I do not have any sort of history of drug abuse, I have had access to all this shit for ages and I'm not interested in the recreational applications. Just want to manage pain, inflammation and eventually anxiety long enough to be able to sit for six hours while getting this thing.
