the "toughest" classes i've taken so far have been linear algebra and intro to AI. and even in these intro classes I turn my head to see a bunch of sheeple writing down word for word what the teacher is saying / writing down. Even in classes like vector calc I saw the same phenomenon. Literally every person taking furious notes. These people never end up learning the concepts and they rely on rote memorization and skimming their little notebooks before each test and deciding to exercise their working memory before each test instead of applying their knowledge. Why are these meatheads furiously skimming their notebooks before the final? You think that's gonna help, dummy? I understand writing down niche concepts or important things but if you need to write down a basic concept to remember it you're a dumbass im sorry.
