We dislike it when we're being unfair towards someone, you can't go murder someone and then say 'I don't wanna be killed'. It's a part of our brain, we aren't primitive creatures, we've gone to the stage of awareness. The stage of reason, no species question the idea of existence except us. We get depressed if we don't find the answer.
