Probably something like a factor or 10 more than the cases that have tested positive have been infected in most countries.

Some places aren't even testing people anymore unless they're hospitalized.

But, of course, this does mean that for the majority of people, symptoms are mild.

Honestly you people laugh at toilet paper hoarders, but you really dont have enough toilet paper yourselves. The average person uses 1 roll per day. If you have a family of 4, that's 28 rolls a week. Over 100 a month. TP rolls will be worth their weight in gold in a few months, because everyone needs it.

Probably. There are already celebrities, politicians and athletes in multiple countries that have it who are only getting tested because they are famous. It's very hard to believe it's not already everywhere.

Also people infected right now will probably only go to the doctor and get diagnosed in 2-3 weeks if at all as the mean incubation time is a week and it usually takes another week till heavy symptoms occur if they do.

According to these observations we should see Italian conditions in multiple western countries in 1-3 weeks, but I really hope I'm wrong.

Yeah probably and that's why the current mortality rates are pretty massive overestimates. People think they have a 7% chance of dying if they catch COVID, but most of the testing is being done on people who are already ill enough to require hospitalisation. A large proportion of the population could contract (and probably have contracted) coronavirus without even realising it, because they would only get mild symptoms.

I assume. If you have diabetes type 1 but mantain your blood sugar levels in normal parameters you are pretty much in the same boat as anyone else, don't worry
I'd recommend you to get some extra insulin just in case (does it expire? I can recall my father putting his insulin on the fridge but I don't know for how long can you keep it on there)

Define stable, cause my A1c is kinda in the "not great not terrible" range of 8.3. I'll usually keep my numbers in the 150 to 180 range but it will spike randomly depending on if I'm lazy to in the mid 200's, but I'm able to bring it down quickly.
