>>11468256Genghis Khan was a literal Genius but he believed in Shamanistic Christianity so it makes sense he wanted to be buried like that to be part of the Earth again.
Genghis Khan was also rumored to be buried in Rome since he secretly converted to Christianity at the behest of his first wife and mother before he became a legendary conqueror, then kept a personal priest. His tribe was known as "grey eyes" and allied with European and Eurasian steppe tribes who were Christian. His tribe also Practiced Shamanistic Christianity. His sons also all took Christian wives.
His real legendary feat was becoming the largest and most successful Christian warlord against Islam and using Islamic soldiers to defeat Islam.
Islam had infested the steppes but, he needed them as soldiers to fight Turk Sultans that threatened Mongolia so he publicly became muslim but, was never observed doing any muslim prayers and consumed pork along with many instances of purposeful desecration of mosques while leaving many Churches and clergy alone. Genghis was penpals with multiple Christian kings and the Pope.
The largest army in the world at the time was made of turkic Ottoman muslims over 1 million islamic soldiers planned to completely decimate Europe. Genghis intervened and had the Sultan publicly humiliated ,kept him in a cage at feast while his men ran trains on the Sultans wife.
His greatest general Subotai was ordered only to create a border along Europe and told him not to loot European castles. As soon as Subotai started to win they were ordered to retreat and fight islamic hordes that were nearby.
.
Genghis also destroyed the most holy cultural centers of Islam in Baghdad and completely crippled the entire Islamic religion in Asia and invasion of Europe.
In the end I think the most amazing thing Genghis Khan did is something he is never recognized for using his enemies to fight their Islamic brothers and then be praised for it.
