Iodine is known for its powerful antiviral properties. I am aware of oral and topical delivery. What if someone wants to inhale or snort iodine (diluted obviously) in order to help disinfect their lungs. What are the consequences, if any?

It is a gamble: 50% lung fibrosis (permanent) from Corona or temporary irritation of the lungs from iodine? Anyone have access to medical databases to see if iodine administration to the lungs has been done before? One can saturate their system orally but not sure if it would be as effective.

Very funny. Why smoke it when I can buy the iodine over the counter or online? You can make fake crack (cooked benzocaine) and smoke that instead. Better than snorting since it will be in vapour form. Effective concentration is the main concern.
