Not true at all and I'm well aware of this pitfall. I understand the concepts, well enough that I could pull I'm any website and solve the problems on it. The question was nonsense, some pseudoscience shite that doesn't exist anywhere. I had even solved similar problems before.

A lot of tests seem like their purpose is more to trick than to evaluate.
The education system couldn't decide if it wanted to prepare students for the workforce or for academia and so chose neither.

That's how it feels to me as well. I have a full understanding of the concepts and did all of the questions with ease. But then my teacher had to invent this nonsense question that nobody would ever even care about in real life.

I don't want to get tracked down and get in trouble. I remember the gist of the question. I had done similar questions before too so I understand how to solve non idiotic versions of such a question. The question isn't the point, but the fact that teachers make up stupid shit to trick students into making mistakes. The bulk of the test was trying to trick me into making a mistake.
