The almighty youtube algorithm has recently decided that I absolutely have to watch the "is X a cult" series from a youtube channel telltale, where the guy discusses whether groups like the Mormons, Jehova's witnesses, or various internet communities are harmless or cult-like.
It's somewhat interesting, and he mostly uses Steven Hassan's BITE model to rate them. However, for some reason that I don't understand, he insists on rating them not linearly, on a 1-10 scale, but only assigning them scores from the fibonacci sequence. Is anybody aware why that would be, or is he just trying to show what a Big Brain Boy he is, because as we all know, fibonacci sequence and golden ratio constitute science.
