First year CS undergrad here, I love theoretical aspects of CS but despise "practical" garbage like webdev.
Seems like everyone around me doesn't give a shit about the math and are just here because they fell for the "CS leads to high paying jobs, learn to code" meme.
This shit is so easy because it's aimed at them. The only interesting CA class I have is a third year functional programming class using Haskell.
Should I switch majors to math and take CS classes on the side so I can learn the theory and not be surrounded by dipshits who have trouble with basic Python programming?
