>>11463646>Why was a piece of music like this made?It was a long process, but I'll try to be succinct.
Music progressed in complexity and harmonization for many years. We can see in early renaissance to baroque the massive increases in complexity and organization from decade to decade, since all this was being funded by the hierarchical society of aristocrats, where men of taste had control. Eventually, after a string of revolutions, the aristocratic society and the hierarchy that permeated it was crushed by slaves and the poor, into a democracy, which is far less complex and organized system than a hierarchical one. This had massive impacts on art, of course. With this progression, complexification and further organization of the complex in music stopped, and music pretty much died, since it was now no longer permeated with the harsh standards of aristocrats, but with the casual standards of freed peasant retards. So the music decayed and declined, of course. This caused some of the most disgusting music to ever exist to be created, ugly messes where the composer is just throwing shit at the wall blindly. This is your "art" music. The retard peasants, since they were retards (we call this type of retard "pseudointellectual"), ate up all this crap, believing it to "have meaning" and "be deep", and they flaunted their tastes in garbage because the retard pseudointellectuals thought obscurity was equivalent with intelligence, which they only correlated because when they tried to read intelligent works, they were obscure to them. This brings us to your hilarious Scriabin, and the pseudointellectuals who listen to him, either trying to trick others, or, even worse, trying to trick themselves, that they are in any way deep for listening to this disorganized mess of elements which is the product of the collective decay of all of art in the face of the tumbling aristocratic empires overcome with disgusting vermin like themselves.
