Is there any way we can contribute to the heat death of the universe?

Does anything we do here on earth make a difference since the sun will eventually consume the entire earth anyways?

Will all the energy consumed by humans be enough to have any measurable effect on the sun's, and thus universes's heat death? Will the sun at least burn a few nanoseconds less because of all the energy we'll radiate off the earth?
