Are you guys familiar with the boiling process? That's when you heat a liquid to a certain point at which outgassing and evaporation start. It's roughly 373 on the Kelvin scale for water, for example.

here in Germany we ad very low levels of chlorine. the chlorine works in the whole pipe system unlike ozone or UV which only works at the plant.

if there is a contamination from a broken pipe etc. the water plant can increase the chlorine level to swimming pool levels and they give out a warning to not drink the water.

this is definitely my least concern in Germany. Water is the businesses of the Town then the county then the state and then the government.

my town has 2 wells which can supply the main water consumption and the guy working at the water plant wont shut down his own tap water.
