I'll bite the bait. The community aspect of religion is probably the only good thing -- and in many cases, their charity work covers what the state is too incompetent or bureaucratic to do. On another hand, most churches are corrupt and engaged in systematized sexual abuse, and moreover the fuckers feel entitled to snoop on private matters such as abortion and family, based only on what their old-ass books have to say about the matter.
