Say gradation all waves are traveling out from some cosmic collision, slightly stretching and compressing whatever it encounters. A billion years later it encounters a stellar mass black hole.
Would either of these have an affect on the other? Would the black hole get slightly stretched and compressed, or would it’s infinite mass cancel out the waves or cause them to lens around it?
Or have I completely misunderstood everything.
Seriously curious. Thanks.
