Congratulations on growing up. Of course you won’t put to good use the vast majority of what you learned in uni, that’s not how things work in the real world. OP's image is an ace student who decided to bail out of acceptance to organic-neuro-cat-girl-robot-scientist school to become a bar tender at a bar so shitty it has a serial code instead of a name. She did this because she didn't want to be a lab drone. To be happy, you need to have your own values and prioritize them over fitting a mold parroted to you by family, friends, or society.

More practical advice: You didn't completely forget anything. You can rapidly relearn all the core material.

Hey man don't be depressed. If you wanna be smart at anything, find a subject material that's not too easy and not too difficult. Read it. Fight it. Understand it. I'm a physics grad, and a few days ago I started learning linear algebra again and realized that matrix multiplication means so much more and that you don't have to memorize how to multiply them instead, understand why they are multiplied in the first place. Lear ing that gave me happiness I can explain. The same goes for literally anything.
You can be happy right now if you define your goals and use self discipline to stick to them. If you are single, self discipline will get you a woman. If you're in a shit job, self discipline at your craft will land you a job. Don't underestimate yourself anon.

Hopefully the revolution in the developer's country isn't too bad. If you need more content, there's a gag spin off where they all the characters go to school together.

If you aren't motivated to sit down and study, try reading the material at a forced pace. You won't be doing any exercises and very little of it will make sense, but it keeps you moving forward and makes subsequent readings easier. You'll need to eventually follow up with a methodical read, but it'll be a lot easier.

I hope everyone's ok. The sequel got announced after shit started to fall apart.

might just crack open my linear algebra book again tomorrow. i don't really know if it will ever be useful to me and that's kind of why it's hard to find motivation. i'm only picking it back up in case it'll help me transition to something more interesting workwise than writing really, really boring code
