>>11467150Nothing is resistant to everything, but some structures are of course more durable than others. Bacterial spores are typically very resilient, for example. Life is made of carbon bonds though, and viruses/prokaryotes don't have the complexity to form strong polymer barriers which resist organic solvents and oxidizers. Prions are a different story. Some of them don't expose particularly weak bonds, meaning a 1N NaOH + 2% sodium hypochlorite soak for an entire hour is necessary to remove them completely from medical instruments. This would melt your hands.
