I stumbled across this,

Galen Winsor, who designed and worked in the first Nuclear Plants and Reactors; his story here flies in the face of a lifetime of scaremongering about the danger of Nuclear Power / Nuclear Waste ... handling Plutonium, spilling it on shirts and living another fifty years in good health..
He raises an interesting point about 'Nuclear Waste' being a stable and self-powered Energy Source... it seems to check out in that it it's used for the undersea navigation lines for submarine radar, as he says. And another interesting point in that the Plutonium rightly belongs to the rates payer (citizens paying their bills) who funded the process to create the Plutonium - i.e. worth more than gold or platinum and a super clean energy source.
I wouldn't have given this too much thought until now, or rather until Fukashima where it seems very strange that the Japanese Government is telling people to go back to their homes in what 'ought' be a lethal hazard zone, and maintaining journalist silence on the entire matter. And if Fukushima happened at all then by all rights people should've taken steps to mitigate the catstrophic damage caused by it.. but nobody really seemed bothered, nothig jappened I mean...
So... is Nuclear Energy actually really the super clean free energy source all along and the politics of oil and oil state foreign policy has deliberately muddied the matter by sending eco-alarmists down the wrong path all this time to scare us away from actually using Plutonium for free energy?
....what's the story here....?
