Ant brains are massively simpler than human brains. Even so, it probably took thousands to millions of years for that fungus to be able to develop to the point where it can control them. The mechanisms behind it are (presumably, I don't know for sure on this one) incredibly complex. Designing the same thing for a human brain is just far too complex of a task for current technology and knowledge.
