do these things help against getting viral infections? i want to wear a face mask for mass events without looking like a construction worker or doomer sperg. there are some cloth mask that seem seal a little bit and you can put these things in. chinese seller say these are n95, can i trust them?

No. They might help a little with preventing you from infecting other people though.

These masks do inhibit you touching your mouth somewhat, but most infections happen through the eyes and these masks don't help with that. Wash your hands regularly.
