>>11458503Western Scientific Reductionism would have us believe that. Trust me when I say that Reductionism leads to horribly misleading conclusions.
I used to have this mindset too, everything is simple and doesnt mean anything else.
Until I stopped smoking weed. Apparently THC blocks melanin, so when I was smoking I had no dreams. When I stopped a tidal wave of this stuff pumped through my head. I started having vivid dreams, that did draw elements from future events, that was.
I couldn't explain such visions. I read weeks on weeks about such dreams. Everything was reduced to 'Its just random information and chance' or 'Dont think about it too hard' or even worse 'YoUr'e speSHal'.
Unfortunately the prophetics I saw were useless, such as a friends fish dying or a woman wearing the exact clothing on a train, so even if I did write a dream journal how would I even attempt to describe everything or even apply such useless visions as well as the emotions I was experiencing in these dreams.
Most people I have talked to experience this as well, I can understand the chances behind these happening coincidentally but when each of my friends as well as there friends admittedly have had at least one experience like this that matter of chance is thrown out the window.
Now onto Melanin, the hormone I suspect is the cause of dejavu/premonition and prophetics in general. Its a rythm hormone, it tells us when to sleep and relax. If our circadian rythm would be overdosed could it not recreate a pattern/time farther away from our current pattern/time?
In simpler terms its seeing the future?
I know its a stretch but its the only explanation which makes sense to me.
I know its /x/ tier, but this is a science board have an open mind.
