Humans start aging after they stop growing at age 25
Crocs and lobsters never age and never stop growing, but eventually die from unsustainable calorie needs, or the massive size strains put on their own body.
The immortal jellyfish reverts back to a larva when it finishes growing, then it grows up again, and just lives fucking forever

Why can't animals stop aging without growing? There's something essential about growing that seems to keep aging away.
