Trying to pick a college major, here's a list
- Chemical engineering
-Computer engineering
-Electrical engineering
-Computer science
I'm guessing it should be one of these looking at income data, but there's also
-Physics
-Biology
-Chemistry
-Mathematics
These seem like memes except maybe physics but even then who's paying?

Well im an EE major with a math minor.
Funny thing is that after starting my math minor I realized that what I truly wanted was studying math.

The usual argument is, "a physics/math major can do anything!"
Yeah maybe, but you only get one job so you might as well specialize, else you might get a job in any area but due to lack of specialization and lack of competitiveness you'll just end up with one crappy job.

I mean, this would be different if you could get many different jobs as long as they are distinct, in which case there would be a many-crappy-jobs vs a-few-good-paying-jobs, but since you only get one job (and try not to switch too often else you just lose wage progress which is dumb) then it's pretty obvious engineering tops everything else
