Mathematics

I often hear about the beauty of mathematics and I'd like to experience that for myself.
However I don't know much about actual math. I have the basics covered (calculus, differentials, the fundamentals of real analysis...) but I don't know anything about topology, advanced real and complex analysis, etc.
I'm not interested in becoming a mathematician, or even becoming good at math, I simply want to see for myself what this "beauty" is and become able to understand advanced concepts, at least the gist of them.
What is a good way to achieve this?
