I recently got into studying neuropeptides and how hormones impact the brain. One of the things I came across is that men and women are sexually dimorphic when it comes to loyalty to their partner.
What researchers found that while oxytocin and vasopressin increases monogamy in men, the data suggest that when women have oxytocin it makes them only loyal to their offspring and vasopressin make women feel that their partner sexually undesirable.
It's fucked up, but it does explain alot about the boomer memes & marriages, why when feminism was institutionalize divorce rates skyrocket, why women cheat so often, and ancient perception on the "fairer" sex.
b4 you ask
>Then why do several men cheat like women?
Because the same variables (oxytocin and vasopressin) apply to their sense of fidelity or the lack thereof. This is supported in the study with men who have the allele 334 mutation.
