I wasted the last 7 years of my life fucking around in community college and part time jobs. Now I work fulltime in a factory and I hate it. I literally push buttons. This isn't even work. Now I want to find a better job but I can't afford to go back to college. I do read. I read economics books math books whatever I can in my car at lunchtime. I used to have a future, when I was in high school I was expected to be successful but I ruined it because I had no direction. Now I want to learn something but college is too goddamn expensive. I know CLEP exams exist but what is the point when they only cover 1st year classes half of which I already took?

Is there anything I can teach myself and have a real chance without a degree? I know theoretically this covers anything but I'm worried I'm a fucking retard (hence my fear of investing in college) so I want something reliable. My friend studied to be an actuary himself. Are there other professions like that? I've thought about medical billing but even that requires a degree so fuck that.
