You open it slowly, or just let them all break because ceramic dishes stopped making sense in 1980 let alone 2020. Only women care about having "pretty" dishes as if other people give a shit what they eat food from so long as it's clean. Plastic dishes were invented explicitly so that you could drop them and they'd bounce, not shatter.

In simpler terms it's a materials problem, not a cabinetry problem.

Pick the cabinet up, lay cabinet on it's back.

Bowls now have potential fall as much distance as cabinet is deep. Less potential energy = less breakage

The fact that this happened at all is evidence the cabinet design is defective. The doors should contact the front of the shelf when closed.

Since the whole thing needs replacing anyway i simply cut a hole in the cabinet to remove the dishes then remove the cabinet and replace it with a new one

Take out the glass plane on the right. With both your hands, hold onto the bowls that have the greatest danger to fall.
Have someone else slowing slide the cupboard open, once it is open have that person hold onto the 4th bowl. Remove the bottom 3 (bowls). Continue as appropriate as to not ensure any fall.

Its obviously a two way access cupboard, front and rear, which is how this mess happened in the first place, some fuck just kept shoving them in with no regard to what was happening on the other side.
