How come antiviral acoustic resonance never took off?

Does it not sound like a good idea to vibrate certain structures that are particular to the virus and vibrate violently so they fall apart at certain frequencies?

Would love to hear what you think.

You can read about this even on goyslop websites like Wikipedia. They don't try to hide it. Its there. The same concept was already developed and shown to work for viruses, bacterias and cancerous cells in the last century yet its inventor had countless slander campaigns against him and even to this day he is regarded as a charlatan. Even though big bucks is being currently invested into the same concept and technique in present days.

He seems to be talking about Rife. Since I'm also a braindead paranoid schizophrenic (lol), however, I can also tell you the story from an even broader scope. Several people in the US in the 1920's were doing similar work. Schereschewsky at Harvard, Gosset et al are notable in France. Several, SEVERAL Soviet and Eastern European authors were doing similar work.

Etc. Look up Novocure and Tumor Treating Fields for a modern, relatively ineffective version of what Rife was doing 100 years ago.

No. It's a coordinative effect and either involves multiple structures oscillating, or the water itself. Actual resonant frequencies viruses are in the 300+GHz range. Likely it's some kind of harmonic or side band thing going on, as rife used KHz range iirc. The Defense Intelligence Agency also noted being able to destroy specific cell types using KHz frequencies.
