how the fuck am i supposed to choose a biology subfield to specialize in (master degree)?
the only thing i know is that i'd like to do reaserch, preferably on animals, looking into novel animal features which could help medicine or biotech.
For now i enjoyed working on both tissue and molecular level, but i think i'd love conducting macroscopic field studies too. Sampling was a lot of fun.
i know there are many successful scientists here, help a lost bab please.
Should i try getting a zoology major abroad and try really hard? is there some more general major maybe, for people who want to do research?
don't delete this thread, /adv/ is fucking useless for specific topics, i don't know where to ask but here
