It's already an emergency, you're just a couple weeks from schools in your area shutting down, shelves being empty, and hospitals overflowing with coughing Boomers. Preppers and financial markets were telling you this back in January and February.

As for waves, if it's like H1N1 or the Spanish Flu, the second (and third) waves would hit this year. Could be more lethal, could be less, still too early to tell.

Oh and we won't have a vaccine until next year (if at all).

Except they do. Its high dose intravenous vitamin C. 50 tons was shipped to wuhan, and there are like 3 clinical trials, all showing success.

Also why on earth would you trust clinical data coming out of China? Do you realize how idiotic that is?

Yes I do trust this, normally I would not, but there is many sources to back it up. Plus 99.9 percent of the animal kingdom synthesizes vitamin c for this purpose anyway.

They shutdown their emergency hospital because they used the police state to quarantine everyone for a few incubation cycles, no treatment necessary.

Now their economy needs to be kept from collapsing, so they're ending the quarantine, the few remaining cases will spark back up, and future cases will either be blamed on foreigners importing the virus or swept under the rug as "mysterious viral pneumonia".

poor ass millenial living with parents trying to hoard up money into investments so my shitty job won't be a big issue when I don't have super cheap rent anymore.
They're in very good health but 70 years old each, so this is a bit of a curveball.
