You can very accurately estimate the worth of any degree program by looking at how many women are in it. More women means it's complete bullshit and should be abandoned. This is common knowledge to anyone with a brain.

About 40% of my ChemE undergrad were women. In general, they were pretty good. They seemed like overachievers compared to the guys.

In my ChemE course there are 4. 2 perform about average, one performs below average and one failed on of her exams and started to throw a hissy fit about it. Favorite experience was in labs when she claimed that learning calculus is pointless as the "computer does it all" (should've taken CS I guess). Also claimed it wouldn't help prevent a chemical plant blow up. The rest are alright though, better than the foreign sponsor students who tapped in to lectures, left, and then flunked their exams. Good luck on training up those engineers Kuwait!
