Upon stubling on a video about polar magnetic fields reversing, I learned that the Earth's magnetic field has shifted 100s of times throughout history, typically taking ~200k years.
Right now, as we stand, it hasn't happened in 780,000 years. In recent decades we've experienced occurances such as the shift of the polar north and changes in our climate.

Now, if you are with me on the fact that a group of rich people control a large portion of the most popular media, I have some interesting news.

http://poleshift.com/magnetic-reversals
https://duanetilden.com/2015/03/03/climate-change-pole-shift-solar-weather/

Those two websites contain pic related and talk a little more in-depth.
Another website promoting a danish study that could "challenge the notion that human emissions are responsible for global warming": http://viewzone.com/magnetic.weather.html

Yet, when we go take a look at what ( ( ( N A S A ) ) ) is saying, they come up with things like:
>>NASA: Earth’s poles are tipping thanks to climate change
