No it does not, the increase is so low as to be practically negligible. Significant enough to measure, but not going to give you cancer when you already did not have it

What the fuck does that even mean? You mean you want a number?

Nicotine doesn't primarily cause cancer due to radiation either, the chemical is itself carcinogenic.

I've read that the tobacco plant absorbs abnormally high amounts of radiation. Makes me wonder if would have some added carcinogenic effect. Even without itself being actually radioactive. I don't know about the biology of such things.

Tobacco absorbs heavy metals from he ground which can accumulate in you, but as another poster said nicotine itself is carcinogenic. Iirc it's a map kinase kinase inhibitor. Fun fact, and you can test this yourself, but a relatively cheap Geiger counter will detect the radioactive metals in a pack of cigarettes produced after Fukushima and Chernobyl
