So i started college doing an engineering/math double major, but ive never really enjoyed any of my engineering classes. Even though the money looks good I cant continue with this bullshit i just really have a disdain for engineering now. My math classes on the other hand have always been my favorite, especially the more "pure" ones (in my second semester of real analysis and i love it)
So im just doing a math major now. Only problem is I have to do a minor alongside it. I've narrowed it down to two options:
>philosophy
>physics
Which should I do?
>Physics is interesting but wouldnt just doing natural sciences narrow my POV?
>Philosophy is also interesting but I doubt it would look as good on my resume as physics would.
I do plan to go to grad school for math.
Also im thinking a career in data analysis or quants would be good, so I am doing a lot of applied math as well.
Well?
