They only shed into a cats feces for 1-3 weeks, and those cysts only live for up to 1 year before dying, so if these are not young cats, the liklihood that they are infected in the last year is very low. Also, if you have your blood tested positive for it, then it cannot do anything else to you as your body protects against any new t.gondii and whatever it was going to do to you, it already did so there isn't a reason to worry.
