>>11435440The best way I've found is to, rather than state facts, respond to their statements with questions that demand answers that will eventually force them to either come to your conclusion or leave the conversation without a last word. You can keep responding to their statements and provide more evidence for your point, but always pair your evidence with questions ("if [study] shows [this] is true, how can you say [that]?" Good enough questions that cut straight through their theories will eventually force them silent because if they're clearly wrong about something, it's because they don't understand the subject well enough, and when you expose how limited their knowledge is, they'll inevitably either be unable to respond or just result to insults, at which point you have won
