High Blood Pressure + Low Cholesterol

I went to the doctor and my blood pressure was 155/88. They retook it again later and it was 134/71.

My cholesterol was real low and my test results were normal.

Should I be concerned?

are you old, your pulse pressure is pretty high, pulse pressure = systolic - diastolic, which can indicate atherosclerosis, but you said you have low cholesterol

i didnt know systolic - diastolic was significant.

What would it mean if someones diastolic was high but systolic was normal? Say 110/90? Ive always heard a high diastolic was bad. Would that be better or worse than 130/70?

high diastolic, normal systolic is more common in young people, high systolic, normal diastolic is more common in old people.

130/70 means a pulse pressure of 60, most young people have pulse pressure of 30-40. High pulse pressure is common for older people. High pulse pressure means your artery is stiff
