Maths, programming, physics, are easy to me. But why am I so bad at chess? It's boring to me, I play like a 6 year old, just moving pieces into the optimal square at that point in time without thinking ahead more than that. I've been humiliated in chess so many times by so many people that I don't play it anymore. Is a different type of intellect required for it? Or it needs to be initiated somehow and then every piece clicks?
