https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0195670120300463It's rapidly (within a minute) inactivated by a 70% or greater concentration of various alcohols and down to a 0.1% concentration of sodium hypochlorite (that's a 50:1 dilution of regular household bleach, quite mild). It's also catalytically inactivated within less than an hour on typical antimicrobial metal surfaces like copper, silver and aluminum oxide. Don't use benzalkonium chloride (used in some hand sanitizers), it's ineffective at typically used exposure concentrations and timespans. Washing with hand soap and water is as always, very effective. Do this whenever possible instead of using chemicals which can damage your skin.
