People around me don't understand how fucked up stuff can be. In videos which was from China, could see that people were falling on streets. Virus can create heart tissue damage. That "it affects mostly boomers" is not really true. A lot of Chinese medical personnel already died, which were in their prime years. And that is only from Corona virus directly.
In Europe, control measures and quarantine are only in Italy. People are still happily traveling around. In two weeks, more serious cases are expecting, as those who get freshly infected, will get symptoms. It depends, how government will react. If there will be quarantine, then risk of logistical problems. Not in time delivered medicine, food shortages, people panicking and fighting over scraps. Those secondary causalities could be even greater than from Corona itself. If quarantine will not be implemented, infected will roam around, infecting more people, after few deaths on streets, people will most likely try to self quarantine, shop shelves will be empty, again logistical problems.
Now deciding factor factor will be: how quickly med labs will find effective medicine against Covid-19, and how quickly it could be manufactured. If it will be within next month, then casualities guesstimate would be around million souls. If longer ( a year), hard to say, may be around 200 millions (direct and indirect casualities).
