Sure it can. If a child has a cavity from drinking water that had no fluoride and had poor dental hygiene, there's a small (albeit non-zero) chance that the cavity can become an infected and result in the child having sepsis. Sepsis can alter and hinder brain function and would possibly result in the child having developmental problems.

Sorry I should have clarified but I wasn't expecting retarded comments like yours.
I meant is fluoride *in the amount that it is normally present in the water supply or in toothpaste* safe for use by humans, specifically young children since it seems to affect them most drastically?

The opposition to flouride is actually more retarded since:
- Flouride can't cross the BBB.
- Flouride is excerted quickly (this is the problem with their "muh athletes" argument, athletes sweat a lot and because they drink more water they piss more often).
- The amount of flouride needed to cause any adverse effects is pretty high, when compared to mercury and chemicals.

Both Aluminum and Fluoride can't cross the BBB ALONE. BUT, they can be combined to create Aluminium fluoride, which CAN cross the BBB.

Nowhere does it say that both are needed at the same time.
I'm honestly looking for reasons to believe fluoride can't fuck us up but I'm slowly starting to see why people are flipping their shit over it.
I had a long argument with a family member about this who seemed inspired by Alex Jones and the rest of the retard crowd. But now I'm becoming skeptical myself. I'm not going full retard just yet, but I'm at least open to the idea that fluoride isn't wholly safe in the way that governments want us to believe.
