It was probably amplified in a bacterial vector. Bacterial polymerases add these so called "poly-A tails" which are thought to function similarly to telomeric sequences in Eukaryotes

Probably just a noncoding sequence of mRNA that serves as a termination region for protein synthesis (for regulatory purposes).
