also IQ matters significantly less on a schizo as you wont be able to use it when being busy to imagine paranoid scenarios and processing impressions of things that your brain projects as reality (illusions, hallucinations, etc.)

i dont think that you can inherit it, just a likelihood of it breaking out, depending on some outer factors
