>>11413155It's a matter of defining 'you'. If you are not your body with all its molecules and their interaction, then 'you' don't exist. So talking about doing anything is a non-starter. The same logic can be applied to anything. For instance, does the wind rustle the trees? No, because there is no wind, it's only air molecules moving about. The wind has no control over its environment because its made up of molecules. That is absurd. The wind IS a collection of air molecules. Just as human beings ARE collections of molecules.
Of course, if we define 'you' the same way we define 'wind' or anything else made of stuff, then we can suddenly talk about agency and cause and effect. You do exert some control over your environment, your psychology, and your biology.
