Looking at the tsunami of information coming from the media regarding the supposed coronavirus pandemic I have not been able to find an article or source reflecting in detail when the virus actually was proven to be the pathogen.

Most articles or writings claiming to be about proof are only about isolating a strain of RNA or what is believed to be the genome sequence.

That by itself doesn't prove that it is the pathogen, the cause of the condition.

When suspecting a virus to be the cause of a medical condition, looking to isolate some RNA from the human body that carries billions of microorganisms is one thing. The real work starts when trying to prove the hypothesis of the pathogen according scientific terms.

I have not been able to find anything in that respect sofar and was hoping someone here could provide some insight.
