Here's why I think physics was so hard for me to get into:
With each new concept, my mind always immediately went to "but why". I'd get distracted and endlessly search for an answer that just doesn't seem to be there. I guess I should have listened to Feynman when he said in this famous video that "you just have to allow for something to be true, otherwise you're perpetually asking 'why'"

For some reason I'm really good at physics and applied math and mathematical physics, but bad at higher level math involving proofs.

What's even funnier is that my friends that are good at higher level math and proofs arent even in the same ball park as my mental math and computational skills, but are out of my league in higher level math concepts.

I guess some people are born to do abstract stuff while others are more geared towards science and engineering
