I have been absent from my university since September. There's a variety of reasons that will be too much for this OP

I was thinking of resuming to uni this semester but I realize that all the classes will be too much to catch up on and that the best would be to just resume after summer instead.
Now the semester fees are just less than $100 which is completely affordable for me. I am completely inclined on finishing it

tl;dr am I retarded for pausing uni for one year, or is this not so unusual?
