Is visual snow basically tinnitus but for your eyes? Think about it. They're both just annoying static existing in the background of your life forever.

I don't get visual snow, but I do get wiggly lines. What looks like small cells moving across my vision. Areas of slight colour change.
I don't think my vision is worse, just I'm more sensitive to things other people wouldn't notice.

I only get visual snow if I rub my eyes hard.
But it goes away after a few seconds.
If you're seeing this regularly, you should probably see an ophthalmologist.

That shouldn't be happening, but this >>11408240 is normal. Which more pronounced with bright solid color backgrounds. If you close your eyes and see the "snow" then it isn't blue field entoptic phenomenon and you may want to see and ophthalmologist.

I went to an eye doctor for this and ge told me the gel on your retina starts separating and floats around as you get older. Not sure if it's true, you just cant trust every doctor

I get this OP, I always called it green static. Don't really know if it's a bad sign. I recently had a eye exam and the doc said my eyes were in excellent condition so maybe there's nothing to it.
