How close are we to actual genetic engineering and gene therapy? Will we be able to cure blindness, deafness, genetic diseases, prevent any of these in future children, and create physically perfect human beings from inception? Will we be able to reverse or slow down human aging? Are genetic engineering and gene therapy even viable?
